(NEW YORK CITY) On Thursday, Wendy Moten will be back on stage with the renowned Latin artist Julio Iglesias for a concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall honoring Oscar de la Renta. Wendy traveled the world as a featured vocalist with Iglesias for 15 years and is excited to join him on stage again. Learn more about the Carnegie Hall concert here.

(NASHVILLE, TN) – Wendy Moten is used to backing the greats – the Memphis born singer has worked with everyone from Michael Bolton to Buddy Guy, and she’s a featured vocalist on the recently released LP Good Road to Follow by multi-platinum selling, award-winning artist John Oates – and while she’ll be doing more of that this year, it’s all building up to Wendy taking center stage.

She lends her voice to “Remember,” the anti-bullying anthem. Out later this spring, the track will aim to boost awareness of this critical issue and also features the talents of Kris Thomas and Karina Iglesias (NBC’s The Voice). Read more about “Remember” here.

She’s going country. Wendy will join country power couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw for shows in Las Vegas on April 11 and 12. But that’s not all – country can’t get enough of Wendy, and she’ll hit the road with Martina McBride this summer. As Martina tours the U.S. from Kansas to Massachusetts, Wendy will be with her. You can see all of Martina’s upcoming tour dates here.

And it’s all leading up to new music. Woodward Avenue Records will release Timeless: Wendy Moten Sings Richard Whiting on May 27. Produced by two-time GRAMMY® winner Paul Brown, Timeless puts Wendy back in the spotlight, and the buzz is already growing for Wendy to be in the GRAMMY® mix for Jazz Album of the Year. She’ll celebrate the release in her hometown of Memphis with an exclusive listening party event in June, so stay tuned to for details.

Woodward Avenue Records is very excited to announce that “Timeless – Wendy Moten sings Richard Whiting” is out now. NASHVILLE – Newly inducted Country Music Hall of Fame member Kenny Rogers will receive The Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award during “The 47th Annual CMA Awards” airing Wednesday, Nov. 6 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Wendy was in LA again last week, working on a new recording project with Don Was. We can’t tell you who the Artist is just yet, but stay tuned here for more updates!

You may have heard a familiar voice shining, as usual, on the most recent release by Buddy Guy, produced by Tom Hambridge. Wendy’s powerful vocals are featured on the tracks “Justifyin'” and “Whiskey Ghost.” The album has been wildly successful and is the third Buddy Guy project that Wendy has been involved in.

Buddy Guy, “Rhythm & Blues” (No. 27): 77-year-old blues legend Buddy Guy nets his highest charting album ever on the Billboard 200, as “Rhythm & Blues” debuts at No. 27 with 11,000 sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. On Blues Albums, it marks Guy’s fourth No. 1.

The double-album includes an array of bold-faced guests including Keith Urban, Kid Rock, Beth Hart, Gary Clark, Jr. and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.

“Rhythm & Blues” also gives Guy his best sales week since SoundScan launched in 1991. His previous high came with his last set, 2010’s “Living Proof” (9,000; No. 46 debut and peak). In fact, his last four studio albums have also started with a larger debut week than the previous, starting with 2005’s “Bring ‘Em In” (7,000; No. 152) and continuing with 2008’s “Skin Deep” (just under 9,000; No. 68) and “Living Proof.”  (Billboard Magazine)
